Senior Developer JDEdward’s EnterpriseOne (E1):  [Salary to $125,000]

The position will serve as a senior resource to provide both development and technical support on the JD Edwards Enterprise One platform. This position will be a part of the team working with business users to design system solutions to meet current and future business requirements. A strong communicator with excellent technical skills who can accomplish software requirements by developing / maintaining applications and databases at a high technical level. Additional essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in the development and post implementation support of JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise One enhancement projects.
• Perform modifications to existing JDE objects, new report/interface development using JDE Development Toolset (Object Management Workbench).
• Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from system users located in disparate company locations.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting development options based on best practices.
• Produce user documentation for applications developed.
• Help develop and maintain robust test environments and procedures.
• Provide technical support and mentoring for the JDE Enterprise One tools to other IT staff.
• Qualifications

 

• BS / BA in Computer Science, Business or related field of study highly desired.

• A minimum of five years experience in JDE programming and IT Applications Development.
• Experience with JD Edwards ERP 8.0 or later development, object oriented programming.
• Knowledge of the Enterprise One Tool set required.
• Familiarity with the development life cycle and its implementation.
• Extensive experience in developer unit testing.
• Excellent hands on knowledge on Event Rules and Business Functions.
• Must have the ability to work well the others in a dynamic team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with distributed application development in client/server environment highly desired.
• Knowledge of JDE Enterprise One functional modules in Sales Order Management, Inventory, Warehousing.
• Knowledge of JDE Enterprise One functional module in Distribution & Manufacturing highly desired.
• Experience with creating and maintaining interfaces between JDE and other 3rd party software.
• Experience with warehouse data collection software such as RF Smart highly desired.
• Experience with DRM, HFM and /or Essbase preferred.
