Senior Business Analyst (JDE/Oracle) Software – Tinley Park, IL [$125,000]

Senior Business Analyst w/ JDEdward’s EnterpriseOne (E1):  [Salary to $125,000]

The candidate will be involved with designing, configuring and implementing the order entry, warehousing, and AR modules of JD Edwards. Key activities will be designing, configuring, writing specifications and testing new implementations.  The candidate will also work as liaison between the users and the technical team performing functional support in a customer service environment. The candidate will need to understand business requirements and how they relate to functionality in the JDE ERP application as well as interoperability between JDE and other applications. Attention to detail and good documentation skills are critical to this effort. Additional essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong business knowledge of the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 (“JDE ERP”) package with specific focus on the Order Entry, Pricing, and AR functionality.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience implementing enterprise IT applications, defining and mapping business processes, and understanding integration between various applications.
  • Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from system users located in disparate company locations.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting options based on best practices.
  • Produce user documentation for applications developed.
  • Provide application support and training for JDE software.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring for the JDE Enterprise One package to other IT staff.
  • Good communication and documentation skills. Experience working with all levels of staff to define business and technical requirements as well as to perform application support
  • Participate in the planning and execution of system implementations and upgrades

  •  Qualifications

 

 

  • BS / BA in Computer Science, Business or related field of study.
  • MBA highly desired.
  • A minimum of five years experience in JDE Order Entry & Advanced Pricing applications support.
  • Experience supporting a customer service organization.
  • Provide application support and training for JDE software.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of system implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience with distributed application development in a client/server environment is desired.
  • Knowledge of E1 functional modules in Order Entry, Advanced Pricing, and AR.
  • Project management experience.
  • Must be familiar with the development life cycle and its implementation.
  • Must have the ability to work well the others in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
