We are seeking an IT Software QA Analyst to perform unit, performance and regression testing ensuring that quality and deadlines are met.  Y ou will work alongside Web Developers and Business Analysts and this is a permanent onsite opportunity downtown with full benefits at a growing and highly profitable company.

Job Duties:

• Perform unit, performance and regression testing, validating test results against expected results, to ensure that test and timeliness requirements are met
• Document and resolve testing issues to ensure a high quality final product is released into Production environment
• May assist as Release Manager for scheduled releases and release updates
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
• Assist with the process of ensuring that all standards, and policies and procedures are periodically reviewed for technical accuracy, applicability and industry currency
• As needed, will develop test cases ensuring alignment with standards
• Provide testing and project updates to management as required
• Actively communicate with QA Management, QA Automation, Development and Business Analyst groups
• Work with operational/business team members, as well as company leadership and customers as necessary
• Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies, techniques and tools

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in IT Quality Assurance and testing (Manual and Automated)
• Strong experience in SDLC in environments with integration and test driven development
• Working experience in a SQL/.NET, and Scripting (PowerShell, VB Script) environment
• Strong experience with test cases and also performance and regressing testing
• 4-year degree in IT or Computer Science required
