Senior Shop Floor Business Analyst w/ RF Smart:  [Salary to $120,000]

Provide primary support and implementation for RF Smart Bar Coding and Data Collection solution in a JDE E1 shop across companies various facilities. In addition, provide equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. Experience with integrating solution hardware with the software while working collaboratively with various business areas such as the warehouse, manufacturing, and IT. Work with internal as well as external sources, such as vendor, to resolve issues with the RF Solution.   Additional essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and supporting the RF Smart Data Bar Coding and Data Collection Solution for facilities.
  • Maintaining and providing support for RF Solution and hardware such as Honeywell scanners and Zebra printers.
  • Assist in developing standardization within the RF Smart solution across all facilities to allow for ease of support and growth.
  • Prepare design, testing, and training documentation for the software and hardware.
  • Communicate specifications and change requests to development team
  • Occasional travel will be required.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, or significant compliable experience.
  • 2+ Years’ Experience with RF Smart Software
  • 2+ Years’ Experience with JDE E1
  • Familiarity with the various barcode formats such as; UPC, EAN, Code 128, QR code, PDF, Code 39, 2d, etc.

  • Develop VB.NET, VBA and C# applications including maintenance and documentation
  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of creating financial functions in SQL

The Senior Programmer Analyst will handle complex analysis and advanced level programming for enterprise-level applications. This individual will perform a variety of coding and programming tasks on various platforms; manage complex application development projects; develop design specifications for comprehensive system software; and provide guidance to IT staff in their areas of expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Programming & Development – 45%; Analysis – 30%; Project Management – 10%; Knowledge Sharing – 15%
    1. Participate in on-going configuration, development and publication of systems, programs, and reports. The developer will investigate, analyze, and program changes in the existing application systems.
    2. Write, execute and support detailed test scripts for unit testing, understanding the level of detail needed for completeness of project documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

QA Analyst

We are seeking a QA Analyst for a stable client in the Chicago area.   This is a relaxed company culture with great benefits!

In this role, the best hire will have relevant industry experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases. Resource will also develop system level requirements and consult regularly with customers to define requirements.

Specific Duties

  • Write and execute test cases both manual and automated
  • Work closely with Developers to clarify defects and retest to verify defects are fixed
  • UAT Support for customers, answer support phone calls and emails, and recommend company software product solutions to customers based on their need
  • Use Test Track Pro to log and track defects
  • Draft requirements and support documentation

Requirements:

  • 3 years of manual and automated QA testing experience
  • Professional background in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Experience with at least on object-oriented programming language or one of the leading testing automation tools and frameworks such as Ranorex, Watir/N, Fitness, Cucumber, etc
